The Chancenkarte lets skilled workers live in Germany for up to a year to look for a job.

A fully recognised qualification, or enough points for training, language, experience, age and ties to Germany.

At least two years of vocational training or a degree, plus A1 German or B2 English.

You must show you can support yourself, for example with a blocked account.

You may work part time up to 20 hours a week and do trial jobs.
