How to Find a WG Room in Germany

Start 2 to 3 months before you move. In big cities good rooms are gone within days.

Introduce yourself in a few lines: who you are, what you do, why this WG. Copy-paste gets ignored.

Many WGs invite you to meet first. Be friendly, ask questions and show you are reliable.

Ask for the warm rent (all inclusive). The deposit is at most 3 months of cold rent by law.

Never pay a deposit before you have seen the room and signed a contract.
